A frosty treat is just around the corner for Lake Oconee residents and vacationers. A new Dairy Queen will be located just off Lake Oconee Parkway in Greensboro by the Parkside Main 8 movie theater, in front of Amici.

This location will serve as Greene county’s second Dairy Queen location with the other being off I-20 exit 130. At present time, there is only one major fast food chain, McDonald’s by Harmony Crossing, serving Lake Oconee’s main commercial district.
